Phase II of the St James’s Place development is an extension to the existing office in Cirencester to meet expansion requirements. MZA was appointed to undertake the MEP consultancy services which involved the construction of a new commercial office facility comprising two levels of car parking at basement and ground floor levels, reception and office area, first and second floor office areas and a roof plant area.

The majority of materials used were responsibly sourced and sustainable principles such as energy-efficient external lighting, high efficiency and low NOx gas boilers and BREEAM-compliant cycle storage, were adopted throughout the design and construction process and a reduction in Co2 was achieved through building services design and fabric improvement.

The building was completed in 2016, is fully BCO compliant, achieved a ‘Very Good’ rating in the BREEAM sustainability assessment and was a 2017 BCO award winner.
