24 King William Street is an 80,000sqft. commercial office redevelopment located close to The Monument at the northern approach to London Bridge. The project involved the redevelopment of the existing building to maximise the net internal area and provide first-class office space. The scope of the project included shell and core and Cat A. works, with the reception fitted out to Cat B., and the provision of new retail space at ground and basement floor levels. A roof-top extension provided an additional two floors and roof plant space. The engineering service strategy included water-based heat pumps serving a condenser water circuit and ultra-low noise and low-profile dry air coolers located at roof level.

MZA’s appointment by the M&E sub-contractor required us to develop a robust Stage 4a design; our team is accomplished in doing this and the outcome was the MZA design was installed, commissioned and achieved the specified criteria.

The project was completed in October 2017.
